Demand
Nurses are in high demand, and will continue to be in high demand for the next few years. Though, it is important to do your research to understand what your workplace might look like. Nurses who graduate from our program can work in private practices, hospitals, urgent cares, nursing homes and more.
Types of Nurses
There are many different types of nurses that have different levels of education. For example, there are Nursing Assistants, Resident Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurse and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. All of the paths above have different levels of education and salaries to match.
Moving up
The first step is doing the research to determine which institutions offer training programs that fit your own specific needs. So, it is nice to know that there is room to climb up the job ladder. Testing the waters by becoming an LPN, you will be able to learn the basics about nursing and gain hands-on experience to see if going further in the field is for you. The first step is researching and seeing which institution you would like to study at.
Eastwick College offers a variety of nursing programs at both our Ramsey and Hackensacack campuses.
