The Commerce & Industry Association of NJ (CIANJ) selected Dean Linda Vinci as an Enterprising Woman in Commerce. She is featured in the July/August issue of Commerce magazine.
When Linda Vinci, RN, MSN, answered a small ad in the paper, little did she know that Eastwick College would play a life-defining role for the next 38 years of her career. Beginning as a part-time anatomy instructor, she eventually taught four nights while working full time as a school nurse. As the College grew, Linda’s part-time role expanded to Assistant Dean, also an evening position. Then, in 2015 when she retired after 26 years as a school nurse, she became the full time Dean of Academics at Eastwick. Her responsibilities range from hiring to scheduling and curriculum and faculty development.
Reflecting on the past years, Linda remarked, “I have a passion for teaching as well as providing students with strategies that enhance their learning. I see my role as an advocate for both students and faculty.”
Dean Vinci’s certifications include School Nurse, Health Educator, and Elementary Education Educator.
