Sammi Silverio, an electrician apprentice attending HoHoKus School of Trade & Technical Sciences, was awarded a $2,000 scholarship check from Jeffrey Buonforte, executive vice president of Lakeland Bank. Lakeland Bank is dedicated to giving back to students who stand out and dream of a bright future. Silverio’s goal is to become a licensed electrician and he currently has a 3.65 GPA. Lakeland Bank felt Silverio is mature, focused and determined to achieve.
Thanks to Lakeland Bank, Silverio is now one step closer to becoming a licensed electrician through the Electrician Apprenticeship program from HoHoKus School of Trade & Technical Sciences. Having some of the financial burden lifted off his shoulders, he feels closer to his goal. Thomas M. Eastwick, president of HoHoKus School of Trade and Eastwick College is proud to see that the students are taking full advantage of these scholarship opportunities.
