HVACR refers to the climate control of residential and commercial buildings, and refrigeration systems that control humidity, temperature, and the general comfort of the occupants.
Learn how to install, maintain, and repair residential and light commercial HVACR systems, with training in the electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
According to the Department of Labor, there are excellent career opportunities in the field, and the employment of HVACR technicians and installers is projected to increase more than four times the national average.
Eastwick College Nutley now offers Associate Degree in HVAC! Discover the HVACR program at Eastwick College Nutley, where you’ll gain expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing residential HVACR systems, covering electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
Our degree program shortens the traditional four-year apprenticeship by offsetting two years of on-the-job training. With just two years of field experience, you’ll be eligible to achieve Journeyman status.
